Driving test changes on 4th October 2010

You have probably already heard that the driving test is changing on Monday 4th October with the introduction of independent driving, a 10 minute element where the candidate will be required to drive, navigate a route and make decisions without any directions from the DSA examiner.

The DSA has released a video explaining the new changes on YouTube, which gives all the information you need to know.

For those of you taking driving lessons in the NW3 area, I can help with your preparations towards passing this new driving test, since your nearest centres will be either Mill Hill or Hendon, but some of you might have booked Borehamwood which has a slightly less longer waiting time to get an appointment. My knowledge of the routes is extensive and having sat on many tests, also know the tricky places where a lot of learners commit serious driving errors, and can help you avoid the same mistakes through adequate practice and full debriefs.

If you are already happy with your current driving instructor, there is a video from an ADI giving tips on independent driving.

If you need practical help with your test preparations from a qualified instructor, and are looking for high quality tuition on a one to one basis, give me a call on 07956 233032 today.
